What each vendor says it does
Quoted from each vendor's own product page, read on September 17, 2026. Where a page does not mention a capability, we say so rather than guess.
Moody's says its Lending Suite "offers automated spreading and scoring capabilities" that "automatically extract, validate, and map financial data from a plethora of sources into your origination system." It describes "a holistic audit trail that logs every action and input, supporting transparency for regulatory authorities."
The page does not state how format changes are handled, give a numeric accuracy figure, or list pricing. Numerated's former spreading page now redirects into this suite.
Finastra positions LaserPro Analyze as a module that "accelerates the statement spreading process while introducing rigorous controls that enhance consistent, accurate, and reliable financial analysis." A separate FlashSpread app in Finastra's marketplace converts scanned or digital PDF tax returns and claims to "reduce the deal spreading time by 96%."
Neither page states source-level traceability, format-change handling or pricing.
Abrigo says Auto-Spreading "extracts data from tax returns to generate financial spreads in minutes" using "AI, OCR technology, and proprietary algorithms," and offers "built-in global cash flow analysis, real-time benchmarks, and dynamic narrative analysis."
The page does not state a numeric accuracy figure, audit-trail behavior, format-change handling or pricing.
Baker Hill's models "extract critical financial data from U.S. business and personal tax documents," which is "then auto-populated directly into your" Baker Hill loan origination system, with "Accurate pre-filling of tax spreads." Supported forms are 1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120S, with a footnote that support varies by form and section.
Baker Hill's dedicated statement spreading page returned a 404 when we read the site, so ratio, audit-trail and pricing details could not be checked.
Uptiq's agent "Automatically extracts, standardizes, and spreads financial data into institution-specific formats," "Maintains traceability from every data point back to the source document," and "Computes DSCR, leverage, liquidity, profitability, and other underwriting ratios." The page cites "more than 100 pre-built integrations and APIs" and SOC 2 Type II certification.
Uptiq publishes percentage speed gains but no accuracy figure or pricing.
Crediflow describes FlowSpread as "Agentic Financial Spreading for commercial lending" with "Automated financial spreading from PDFs, tax returns & bank statements," and says "Every output is traceable to its source data and shows its reasoning." It lists commercial lenders and banks, business finance consultants and commercial brokers as its audience.
The site publishes targets for time and cost reduction rather than measured accuracy, and no pricing.
Aloan describes spreading software that "cites every number back to the source page," where "Every value carries a citation, an override marker if a human changed it, and an audit trail an examiner can walk," and says the product "Runs alongside the LOS." It is aimed at community and regional banks.
The page links to pricing but shows no figures.
MightyBot is a policy-driven AI agent platform rather than a standalone spreading tool. Agents classify each document, extract every line with its period and entity, and canonicalize it to your chart of accounts. Each cell keeps a pointer to the page and position it came from, and low-confidence values route to a person.
Your firm's conventions, such as permitted add-backs and how to build trailing twelve months, are written as plain-English policies and versioned. The same spread feeds ratio calculations, covenant tests and underwriting policy, which is the reason to choose a platform over a point tool.
